We shall be changed. Healing Scriptures Meditation.

We shall be changed. Healing Scriptures Meditation.

‘Heal me, O יהוה, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

Jeremiah 17:14

Carrying a heavy load

Baggage. At one point or another, we’ve all found ourselves carrying emotional baggage. Some of us are still carrying those emotional or spiritual “bags” to this day. Most of us are subconsciously walking around with more baggage than we will ever realize. A lot of the hurt and pain we experience in the world is still fresh when we first find our way back to Yahuah. We often carry scars from negativity that stem from bad relationships with family members or so-called friends. Disagreements brought on by institutional “churchianity” and pagan origins can leave us spiritually and mentally exhausted.

When we first realize how many layers of lies we have been operating under for the majority of our lives, it can feel overwhelming. We don’t always know where to begin. Coming into truth can often leave us feeling isolated, defensive, or even angry at the world.  Sometimes our emotions get the better of us, we get side tracked, overly focused on one portion of truth, and the pain we feel often gets worse before we find healing and it gets better.

We shall be changed

Even if we don’t have any physical scars, spiritually, we all need healing. True healing comes from Yahuah. He’s the only one who can make us whole again. Not only will He turn our mourning into dancing, but He promises in Revelation 21:4, that when all is said and done, He will wipe away every tear from our eyes. No more pain! HallaluYah!

“And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away.”

Revelation 21:4

Meditate on Yah’s Word

By spending more and more time focused on the truth in Yah’s Word, the change we seek becomes real. Healing requires patience. Both physically and spiritually. Washing ourselves in The Word every day will bring that healing to our lives. And one day soon, we shall be changed!

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Jeremiah 17:14 was my focus text this week. I don’t really discuss my physical health on the blog very often. It’s just not always appropriate. But we know that physical and spiritual health are connected. For several years I’ve been privately asking Yah for healing in my body. So if you’re seeking Yah for healing too, know that you’re not alone. I have hope that the healing will come! And I want to share some of that hope with you, directly from Yahuah’s Word. So I made a scripture meditation video with soft music and vocals too. I pray that it blesses your heart.

‘Heal me, O יהוה, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. ‘

Jeremiah 17:14

Take Action

Change is coming. Healing is on the way. Not because we follow Torah perfectly. Not because we are eating the perfect diet. Not even because we are soooo set apart. Isaiah 64:6 says our righteousness is like filthy rags. We follow Yah’s instructions because we love Him (John 14:15,) not because we are perfect. So as you walk this walk in spirit and in truth, know that change is coming, and healing is on the way, simply because of the mercy of our wonderful Elohim.

Leave a comment if you need healing, I promise you’re not alone. If you want to share a prayer request, you can, or just type out “I shall be healed!” and say it out loud as you type it. “I shall be healed!”

If you’re waiting for a change to come for our people, or a change to come within you, feel free to share what’s on your mind, or just say, “We shall be changed!” For nothing is impossible with Elohim (Luke 1:37.)

Let’s encourage one another in Yahuah, and find strength to endure to the end.

OK, I’ll see you in the comments below.

A Time to Every Purpose Under Heaven. Yah is in control.

A Time to Every Purpose Under Heaven. Yah is in control.

Sometimes it’s hard to let go. It’s hard to accept that you’re not always in control. I know because I struggle with this too. When we can’t get what we want or expect, or we’re unable to follow through with the plans we have for our lives, let’s try to keep the focal point of this week’s scripture meditation in mind.

“To every thing there is a season,

and a time to every purpose under heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Just like the seasons, and the rising of the noon day sun, we can trust that everything in our lives will happen when it is supposed to happen. Why? Because Yahuah is in control and we are not. Psalm 115:3 says, “Our Elohim is in the heavens and he has done whatsoever he hath pleased.”

Don’t be afraid to let go of your own plans and trust in Yah. He never fails. It’s okay for you to let go. It’s good for you to listen in, and hear Yahuah’s voice. It’s good to follow His prompting, and to take action when He’s calling you to move. It’s also good for you to wait on Yahuah, and to let him strengthen your heart (Psalms 27:14.) So try not to get frustrated in the midst of whatever you’re going through right now. Just keep on trusting in Him. Enjoy the video below.

For Elohim hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

Remember, Yah is in control, so trust the process. Is there anything you’d like to share that came to your mind as you were reading this, or as you were meditating on Yah’s Word? Feel free to share in the comments below. Let’s encourage one another on this journey. You don’t have to walk alone, let’s lift each other up.

Alright! I’ll see you in the comments.

Praise Yahuah. Taste and See that Yah is good.

Praise Yahuah. Taste and See that Yah is good.

Have you ever really stopped to think about that popular saying, “We eat with our eyes”?

Sometimes we choose what looks good, over what actually is good. Just because something is visually appealing, we often trust that it’s going to be good. Inherently we all know that this is dangerous on so many levels. Sometimes, the most beautiful piece of cake tastes absolutely terrible. Not only that, but it could also be terribly unhealthy regardless of how it tastes, which doesn’t do us any good.

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Hebrews 11:1

Yah invites us to go deeper than what we first see with our eyes. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1.) There is so much more to our spiritual journey that what meets the eye.

We may look around and see that, for some reason, we are not where we want to be. We may see that we are still childless, or single when we wanted to be married. We may see that we are still renting when we wanted to own a home. We may see that we aren’t reaching our goals in life, or with our health, or healing. But maybe we are just going through a process that is meant for our good.

All things work together for the good of those who love Yahuah (Romans 8:28.) So as we grow deeper in our relationship with Yahuah, we can trust that that He is good. Taste Him. Try a little more and more of Him every day. You will see that He is good, and He’s working things out for your good.

The Scripture meditation this week is focused on Psalms 34:8. The video clips are all footage from our Summer garden in 2023. I pray this video helps to warm you up inside, and to focus your mind on Yahuah, and the good plans He has in store for your life.

Oh taste and see that Yahuah is good. Blessed is the man that trusts in Him.

Psalms 34:8

Leave a comment if this video inspired you, or helped you to feel a little bit better inside. I hope the sunshine and the scriptures warmed your heart! Also, feel free to share anything that may be on your mind. If Yah has you in a place where it’s difficult to fully see clearly, and you’re trying to put your trust in Him more, you’re not alone. We all go through times like that. Let’s lift one another up in prayer today.

Alright! I’ll see you in the comments.

The Law is a light |Delight in the commands of Yahuah

The Law is a light |Delight in the commands of Yahuah

“Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law.”

Psalm 119:18

Over the course of my life, whenever I loose focus, or start to feel a little down, it’s usually because I haven’t been spending enough time in The Word of Yahuah. Over the past several weeks, as Yah has been prompting me to spend more time with Him, it’s been helping me so much to feel more alive! The Law really is a light! Creating new content on YouTube is a byproduct of that light. I hope to keep sharing new scripture meditations every week @setapartheart. That way you’ll have something to enjoy between new music releases.

There are SO many golden nuggets in Psalms 119. I love that chapter. You may have already seen the scripture meditation that I posted on YouTube earlier this week. It’s called “Revive Me in Your Ways.” It’s based on excerpts from Psalm 119. Being the longest chapter in The Scriptures, if I had recorded the whole thing, it would have been a 20-30 min video. But this little 2 min scripture meditation is just long enough so you can play it again and again.

I pray this video helps The Word to go deeper for you. I pray it stays in your heart and mind, and helps to revive you if you’re feeling kind of cold. Remember, Proverbs 6:23 says, “For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:” The law is light. Let The Word bring of Yahuah breathe new life and light in you today, so you can rest and be restored in Him.

The footage in the video below was all taken at Yosemite International Park back in July 2020 when my husband and I hiked up The Mist Trail together. Since then we’ve been back to Yosemite several times, and every time we see something new. So if you like these clips, let me know, I’d be happy to share more of these moments in Yah’s creation with you! Enjoy the video below.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

Psalm 119:105

One verse that isn’t in the video which I also love is Psalm 119:105. A sister on YouTube reminded me of it in the comments. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” The Law of Yahuah can bring you light on your darkest days. So if you ever feel dark or cold, especially on these cloudy winter days, choose to delight in the commands of Yahuah. I promise, it will change your life.

What’s your favorite verse in Psalm 119? Let me know in the comments below. And if you’re interested in me doing a full chapter scripture reading of Psalm 119 with Yahuah’s name – just a straight conversational reading, let me know that too. I know some people enjoy listening to the scriptures before going to sleep, while they sleep, or just while they are doing chores around the house. If that’s you, and you would enjoy having longer scripture readings in addition to these shorter meditations, I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments as well.

Worship Yahuah| Maker of The Heavens and Earth

Worship Yahuah| Maker of The Heavens and Earth

Our Help

is in the name of יהוה,

Maker of

the heavens and earth.

Psalms 124:8

Shalom Mishpacha! I know it’s been quite a while since my last blog post here at Set Apart Heart. How are you surviving the winter? I don’t know about you, but sometimes the winter months are hard for me. Even here in California, I really miss the sunshine. Regardless of the cold and cloudy days, Yahuah still reigns supreme! No matter what the weather, or circumstance in your life, Yahuah is, and always will be in control. He’s maker of the heavens and earth!

Exciting news. I’ve started a brand new YouTube channel for Set Apart Heart. The original channel with the past 10 years of videos will still stay online as it is. I do plan to continue making music on the original channel in due time. Yah has just been tugging at my heart strings, telling me I need to spend more time just meditating on His word. And since there are so many distractions in life, I thought making scripture meditation videos, speaking aloud The Word of Yah, would be beneficial not only for my own spiritual journey, but for yours as well.

This week, Yah had me meditating on a few different Psalms and Proverbs that I pray will bless your heart. I put them together in a new video with footage from nature scenes that I experience in my every day life. The scenes are landscapes from our surrounding area, and the timelapse’s were all shot from my window at home. The rainbow at the end just so happened to shine for us on today, the very day I was finishing up this video! So cool right? Praise Yah. I pray that sharing these moments with you will help you relax and find rest in the beautiful Word of Yahuah. Enjoy the video below.

Leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts on this new style of content. I’m open to suggestions as well if you have any verses you’d like me to make videos on for your meditation.

If you like the content on the new YouTube channel for @setapartheart I pray you will subscribe there, and share the content with those who might enjoy it too. I actually started the channel last week with a short relaxing video entitled, “Don’t Worry.” It’s just a little encouragement from Matthew Chapter 6, with clips from the sweet little birdies in my garden. I hope it blesses you as well.
