Have you ever really stopped to think about that popular saying, “We eat with our eyes”?

Sometimes we choose what looks good, over what actually is good. Just because something is visually appealing, we often trust that it’s going to be good. Inherently we all know that this is dangerous on so many levels. Sometimes, the most beautiful piece of cake tastes absolutely terrible. Not only that, but it could also be terribly unhealthy regardless of how it tastes, which doesn’t do us any good.

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Hebrews 11:1

Yah invites us to go deeper than what we first see with our eyes. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1.) There is so much more to our spiritual journey that what meets the eye.

We may look around and see that, for some reason, we are not where we want to be. We may see that we are still childless, or single when we wanted to be married. We may see that we are still renting when we wanted to own a home. We may see that we aren’t reaching our goals in life, or with our health, or healing. But maybe we are just going through a process that is meant for our good.

All things work together for the good of those who love Yahuah (Romans 8:28.) So as we grow deeper in our relationship with Yahuah, we can trust that that He is good. Taste Him. Try a little more and more of Him every day. You will see that He is good, and He’s working things out for your good.

The Scripture meditation this week is focused on Psalms 34:8. The video clips are all footage from our Summer garden in 2023. I pray this video helps to warm you up inside, and to focus your mind on Yahuah, and the good plans He has in store for your life.

Oh taste and see that Yahuah is good. Blessed is the man that trusts in Him.

Leave a comment if this video inspired you, or helped you to feel a little bit better inside. I hope the sunshine and the scriptures warmed your heart! Also, feel free to share anything that may be on your mind. If Yah has you in a place where it’s difficult to fully see clearly, and you’re trying to put your trust in Him more, you’re not alone. We all go through times like that. Let’s lift one another up in prayer today.

Alright! I’ll see you in the comments.
