It’s time to stay focused. No more distractions.
We all struggle with distraction in life.
I’ve been struggling for a long time. It’s been several months since I’ve made a blog post, and even longer since I’ve actually had the desire to sit down and try to record any music. Praise Yahuah, in spite of all the distractions, the desire to make music has returned. There’s a call on my life that I just can’t run away from. As much as I try to ignore it, it always comes back.
So Praise Yahuah, here I am, finally being obedient. I’m not sharing this because I desire your applause. I’m sharing this because I hope that it will inspire someone out there who is struggling with distractions too.

Here’s a look behind the scenes of the latest song Yahuah placed on my heart. It’s not finished yet, I just started writing it this week, so there will be more to it. But I’m sharing it now as it is, with the hope that it will inspire you to put away all the distractions in your life, and make more space to worship Yahuah too.

My renewed focus on music, and dedicating protected time for worship, is an extension of all that’s been happening in my life for the past couple of months. There’s been a lot of drama that I won’t bring up, so I’ve been working to create more space for peace in my life. Going on walks, observing Yah’s creation, and trying to get an average of 10,000 steps a day. I’ve been asking Yahuah to give me the same energy I put towards my daily walks, to put into my music – the worship He SO deserves. For this album, I just want to sit at the feet of our Master and worship Him!
Some of you have already found my new YouTube channel, “Calm Peaceful Place.” I post there almost daily, it’s not for my music, but it’s truly relaxing for me. It reminds me to keep things light, and not to take myself too seriously. I tend to be very hard on myself, and I want to let that go with this project. So I will keep posting calm peaceful videos there, even as I finish the next album. I want to set up my life so that I can worship Yahuah daily, and create space for peace, and live the set apart life to the fullest, in Spirit and in Truth – no more distractions.
‘But Martha was distracted with much serving, and coming up she said, “Master, are You not concerned that my sister has left me to serve alone? Speak to her then, to help me.”’
‘And יהושע answering, said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many matters,’
‘but one only is necessary, and Miryam has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.”’

You already know that story. Let’s be like Miryam.
Choose to focus on worship.
No more distractions.
