Let Your Ruach Fall on Me (Acoustic Guitar)

Let Your Ruach Fall on Me (Acoustic Guitar)

For the past several months I’ve been struggling to find the desire to sit down and practice my instruments. I have SO much discipline in other areas of my life – prayer, fasting, diet, exercise, gardening – but for some reason, I just keep struggling to be disciplined with music.

Trust in יהוה with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

Know Him in all your ways, And He makes all your paths straight.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear יהוה and turn away from evil.

It is healing to your navel, And moistening to your bones.

Proverbs 3:5-8

This week I decided to make a change, and recommit to practicing early every morning before the day begins. Why? Because you don’t always choose your purpose. Sometimes your purpose chooses you. I may not always feel like choosing to make music, but I believe these songs were all given to me by Yah for a reason. Perhaps the reason is you.

Somebody needs to hear the song in this post today. Somebody needs to be reminded of Yahuah’s esteem. Cry out to Yahuah if you need Him as much as I do. Especially as the Fall feasts are approaching. Let’s sing. “Let Your Ruach fall on me.”

Enjoy the video below.

Sing unto him a new song;

Play skillfully with a loud noise.

Psalm 33:3

If you’re celebrating Yom Teruah on Tuesday with me, I pray this music adds to your festivities. Let the “Teruah” of this music, translated as “loud noise” in the Psalm above, move your hearts as you cry out to Yahuah in song. You don’t have to be perfect, I certainly wasn’t perfect in my rendition of this song, you just have to open up share what’s really on your heart. Cry out with joy, with tears, with whatever is really real, and be reminded of how much you really need The Most High. Remind Him of His promises. Don’t be afraid. Just let Him hear your cry!

Yahuah bless you, and keep you, and give you ALL his peace. May He renew your joy in this season as you trust in Him. Leave a comment below, whether you’re able to celebrate Yom Teruah or not, just say “Praise Yah! Let Your Ruach Fall on Me!”

Enjoy the rest of the fall feasts, Mishpacha. See you in the comments below.

Give Me Yahusha (Negro Spiritual)

Give Me Yahusha (Negro Spiritual)

There’s a song my mom used to sing a lot when I was a child, a Negro Spiritual, called, “Give Me Yahusha.” That song’s been playing over and over in my head all week, so I just wanted to share it with you.

‘“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who stays in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit.

Because without Me you are able to do naught!’

John 15:5 TS2009

If you ever feel like you’re in the midst of something you know you can’t do on your own, don’t be afraid to surrender. Just cry out and say, “Give Me Yahusha!” In the morning, at midnight, just before the break of day, no matter when you happen to see this, I hope the message and song will replay in your heart when you need to hear it most. Enjoy the video below.

‘Stay in Me, and I stay in you.

As the branch is unable to bear fruit of itself, unless it stays in the vine, so neither you, unless you stay in Me.’

John 15:4

There are so many golden nuggets in John 15.

Messiah’s words are so powerful.

The verse below is especially meaningful to me.

‘“If you guard My commands, you shall stay in My love even as I have guarded My Father’s commands and stay in His love.’

John 15:10 TS2009

Everything is so connected.

The physical, the spiritual, the law, Yah’s love and mercy, the vine, the branches, and the fruit… Yahuah and Yahusha…. Where would we be without our Mashiyach? HallaluYAH! Yahuah is one. (Deuteronomy 6:4)

Take some time to meditate on John 15 again. You can replay the video or just read the scripture for yourself. Trust and believe Yahuah is salvation, and He sent His son Yahusha to die for our sins, so we can have everlasting life. He wants us to have real joy as we walk with Him. His Word is designed to keep us safe, and bring us peace, joy, and love. Let’s keep this at the forefront of our minds as we walk in His ways, guard His commands, and seek to live our lives for Him.

If you need Yahusha as much as I do, leave a comment below and say, “Give me Yahusha!”

A Quiet Simple Life

A Quiet Simple Life

A Quiet Simple Life.

All I really want is a quiet, simple life. I don’t know about you, but that is good enough for me.

“For every matter there is an appointed time, even a time for every pursuit under the heavens:

“A time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak;

“He has made it all, beautiful in its time.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7, 11a TS2009

Do you have enough quiet spaces in your life?

I’ve been more quiet than usual lately. In the quiet spaces, I’ve been learning to hear Yah’s voice more clearly. I’m learning to follow His lead more closely, instead of my own. I want The Most High to tear up anything that shouldn’t be in my heart – pride, greed, selfishness – then sew me back together again.

Detaching from things of this world, spending less time online, and learning to be content with what I have in Yahuah, has been a huge part of that process. The process is still ongoing.

Do we ever stop learning and growing?

I hope this blog post can serve as a reminder for you to find more quiet spaces in your life.

My Favorite quiet place is in the garden.

Whether you have a garden or not, don’t be afraid to go outside more often. I made a video for you to enjoy below. It’s a walk through my Spring garden this year. That’s my quiet place.

I hope that seeing the images of Yah’s creation will remind you that we were created to live in a garden. It’s Yah’s ideal for mankind. Let’s all try to find ways to get back to natural spaces – where Yah’s creation, just by existing, gives Him all the praise.

All the footage in this video is real – even the hummingbirds. I just set up a tripod with an iPhone and let the little Hummingbirds come. All praise to Yahuah Most High 🙂

What’s next?

May Yahuah’s will be done in all our lives, mishpacha.

Going forward, I plan to share any new content, blog posts, or music that Yah gives me on a monthly basis. Weekly is just far too much for me. I just need room to slow down, put my relationship with Yahuah, my health, and my family first. I know those of you who appreciate slow living can understand that desire.

I could try to keep up with the pace this world is moving, but quite frankly, I just don’t have the desire to. What I do want is to continue to create quality, authentic, inspirational music & motivation for you – no matter how long it takes.

Scriptures on contentment and living a quiet simple life.

Here are some more scriptures for you to contemplate till the next time we connect here on the blog. As always, let The Ruach Ha Chodesh, the Set Apart Spirit of Yahuah, lead and guide into all truth. These passages are all taken from TS2009.

“Let your way of life be without the love of silver, and be satisfied with what you have. For He Himself has said, “I shall never leave you nor forsake you,” so that we boldly say, “יהוה is my helper, I shall not fear what man shall do to me.””

Hebrews 13:5-6

“Not that I speak concerning need, for I have learned to be content in whatever state I am. I know what it is to be humbled, and I know what it is to have in excess. In any and every situation I have learned both to be filled, and to be hungry, both to have in excess, and to be in need. I have strength to do all, through Messiah who empowers me.”

Philippians 4:11-13

“All the days of the afflicted are evil, But gladness of heart is a continual feast. Better is a little with the fear of יהוה, Than great treasure with trouble. Better is a meal of vegetables where love is, Than a fatted calf with hatred.”

Proverbs 15:15-17

“The fear of יהוה leads to life, And he remains satisfied, He is not visited by evil.”

Proverbs 19:23

“I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.”

Romans 12:1-2

“He who earnestly seeks good, Seeks what is pleasing; But to him who seeks evil, It comes to him. He who trusts in his riches falls, But the righteous flourish like a leaf.”

Proverbs 11:27-28

Yahuah wants you to flourish. He wants you to have joy and contentment. Find Him in your quiet place. Let His Word go deep inside your heart and help to keep you set apart.

I owe you an apology.

I owe you an apology.

Shalom Mishpacha. I owe you an apology. I’ve bitten off more than I can chew this quarter. The video below explains it all.

‘But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by the heaven or by the earth or with any other oath.

But let your Yes be Yes, and your No, No, lest you fall into judgment.’

James 5:12 TS2009

I hope you can accept this apology. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments. I pray that both you, and Yahuah will have mercy on me as I learn to curb my excitement, and stop talking about doing things before I do them. Instead, I just need to actually do them.

For those who couldn’t watch this video for whatever reason, I’m sorry that the next release won’t be ready before The Passover. It’s just not realistic right now. I’m so grateful to those of you who have already been supporting my two latest releases, “Todah Yah” and “I Need You Now.” AND for those of you who have been enjoying all the music I’ve shared since 2014, both on YouTube, and here on the blog.

In the future I will continue to share updates on what’s happening with music, life, and how it all relates to spiritual growth. That’s why we’re all here – to keep on growing in Yahuah together in spirit and in truth.

‘Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not look around, for I am your Elohim. I shall fortify you, I shall also help you, I shall also uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.’’

Isaiah 41:10 TS2009

Besides this apology, I just wanted to encourage you today. If you are struggling to find balance, and you find yourself doing too much, it’s okay to pull back and re-evaluate your goals. Yahuah is our helper, and He will help us all in His perfect timing, and His perfect way. Let’s keep on trusting in Him to lead and guide. He makes all things beautiful in His time.

Much love,

-Hadarah BatYah

Praise & Worship Medley. Proverbs 3 Song (Acoustic)

Praise & Worship Medley. Proverbs 3 Song (Acoustic)

Shalom Mishpacha. This praise & worship medley is based on my Proverbs 3 Song. Will you join me in worshipping Yahuah today? Sometimes I just need to pause and worship Yahuah to shift my mood and get into a better head space. I hope this helps you too.

‘My son, do not forget my Torah, And let your heart watch over my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they add to you.’

Mishlĕ (Proverbs) 3:1-2 TS2009

Are there any prayer requests on your heart today? You’re welcome to share in the comments.

If you can, please keep me in prayer as I prepare for the next recording. I just want to make sure it’s filled with authentic praise & worship to The Most High – with nothing in between. Yahuah’s will be done in all things.

‘“Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.”’

Yoḥanan (John) 4:24 TS2009

This praise & worship medley is a mix of themes from some of my newer and older music. I’m planning to put a version of this on my next recording, “In Spirit and In Truth.” I’m envisioning a round, with some of the parts you heard today overlapping. I can’t wait to share everything that’s in my head with you.

Today, I just wanted to share this simple praise & worship to Yahuah, and get my fingers back on the acoustic guitar. I pray it blessed your heart and lifted your spirit! Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments. Have a beautiful, wonderful day in Yahuah Most High.
