When you’re in the presence of Yahuah… do you ever run out of words to say?
That’s what I’ve been experiencing lately… I just haven’t had many words to say… I used to feel like maybe that was a bad thing… that I couldn’t find words to say when in prayer… after all, prayer is communication, kind of like a conversation right? But then I remembered the scripture that says…
“Do not be hasty with your mouth, and let not your heart hurry to bring forth a word before Alahiym (Elohim) … For Alahiym is in the heavens, and you are on earth, therefore let your words be few.” Ecclesiastes 5:2
I have SO much to be grateful for… and sometimes my heart wells up with tears of joy before Him… It is SO humbling to be walking in truth and living in His presence… If you’re struggling right now, please know that Yahuah really does hear your prayers. He understands exactly the feelings that are on your heart. Even if you don’t have the words to say… all you have to do is just find yourself in His presence… that special place where it’s just you and Him… just being there even if you just remain silent before Him… still, it’s beautiful…just being in that place… so beautiful…
The song in the video below is called “Words to Say” I wrote it many years ago when I was a Christian Recording Artist. The song came back to me in my worship time this morning… so I changed some of the lyrics to make Yahuah’s name shine through. I pray this song will meet you where you are and lift you up….
Enjoy the video below.
Keep pressing through and stay encouraged my friend! Yahuah has you on His mind. Though this blog post was short, I pray that it was sweet enough to guide you to the place you and I both need to be… in the beautiful presence of Yahuah. If this blog post was meaningful for you, please share your thoughts in the comments below.
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O Yahuah, my rock and my redeemer.” (Psalms 19:14) Halaluyah.

I decided to take a huge step. I deleted my Facebook account. I had gone back and forth about whether or not to do this in my mind for quite some time. If you missed my final Facebook status update where I shared my motivation for leaving Facebook, I’ll share that with you here in this blog post, and explain more of what it means for you.
The simple truth is this: I was addicted to Facebook. It was time for me to change that. So I went “cold turkey” and deleted my account. Addiction on any level is a very dangerous thing. Especially when you find yourself rationalizing about the reasons why it’s not. So I took the plunge and deactivated my Facebook account. I even took the time to delete all my old pics and private messages so that there would be nothing left for me to go back to, should I be tempted to change my mind.
Was I too drastic in deactivating my Facebook account? Some may say so. But the reality is this. For me, it was worth it. In the past few days of my life without Facebook, there has been a lot more quiet space in my mind. I feel a lot more peace…. Shalum… I’ve really enjoyed that. At first I thought the quietness would be too much for me to handle, but it didn’t take long for me to adjust. And i’m looking forward to experiencing life without feeling the personal obligation to post every moment of it.
I first discovered that I had a real problem when a friend of mine asked me to remove some pictures I had posted of their family from a shabbat experience that I had shared with them. They were beautiful pictures and I really struggled with the fact that they wanted me to take them down. When I removed the album I felt like I was losing something. It felt like someone else was taking away a part of my experience. When you get to the point where you feel like you haven’t truly experienced a part of your life if you don’t post or share it on Facebook, then I think it’s time to re-evaluate the motivation behind being on Facebook at all.
Instead of being glued to my newsfeed now I’m actually making plans for how to be more effective at accomplishing my life’s purpose. I know that Yah has me here on this earth to provide music & motivation for the body of Yashra’al (Israel). I just released Yahuah Acoustics Vol.1, which if you haven’t heard, is a 20 min EP of Set Apart Acoustic music with guitar and vocals. And even though Facebook played a huge role in me sharing this music ministry, leaving Facebook is by no means an indication of me leaving the ministry altogether.
So what does this mean for you? Me leaving Facebook means that YOU get more. More music, more motivation, more creativity, more encouragement. I look forward to staying connected with you not only here at setapartheart.com but also on Youtube more frequently. Instead of checking Facebook I’ll be reading and studying more, so that I’ll have much more value to give back.
In the past I’ve recorded new vids about once a month or so, I’m aiming now for twice a month or every other week. I’m working to create a content calendar and will do my best to stick to it. Yahuah’s will be done, I won’t just be sharing music, but also thoughts and ideas for conversation around spiritual growth and development. I’ll share topics that will motivate you to search the scriptures and continue your journey.

I pray that my leaving Facebook will lead to even deeper connections with you. And for those of you who are also addicted to Facebook, or anything else for that matter, I pray this will inspire you to make a change – whatever that change looks like for you.

Raise your hand if you would like more set apart time for Yahuah… Would you like more time to focus and meditate on who He is? Do you sometimes feel defeated and distracted and wish you had more time to focus on His Word? Just a few weeks ago, I sent out a survey to my my email subscribers, and I asked them what they found was lacking most in their worship experience and their personal devotional life. Two things came up over and over again in their responses.
The first thing that people mentioned was lacking the most in their devotional life was set apart music. The second thing was set apart time. Set-apart Music, and Set-apart time. Two things we need a lot more of. If you agree with those sentiments and wish you could have more of either or both, leave a comment at the bottom of this blog post. I’m sure that you are not alone.
Many of you lead very busy lives. With work, school, family, or all of the above and more, it can seem like there is always SO MUCH going on. Praise Yah for the Shabbat, but apart from that special day, do you feel like you have everything you need to continue growing on our spiritual journey from day to day? Or do you just wish you could have some more time to sit down, recharge, and refocus.
A wise person once said to me, time management is a fallacy. You can’t manage time, you can only manage what you choose to do with it. There will always be 24 hrs in a day- you can’t add any more no matter how hard you try. So how much of that time will you choose to spend with Yahuah?
If you’re struggling to keep everything in balance, sometimes it can help to have support. Yahuah Acoustics Vol.1 is FINALLY here. I recorded this set apart acoustic music for you so that you can get access to music and motivation any time you need some encouragement.
If you’re stressed at work, taking a 5 min break to listen to the music on this recording can help to bring you back to the place of peace where you need to be. Or if you need to unwind after a stressful day and you can’t find the words to pray, this recording will help you do that. This music is a tool that you can easily fit into your schedule, anytime, and anywhere you choose. The end result is that this music will bring your heart back to a place of worship.
If you’re an email subscriber and you’ve been waiting for this, you know exactly what to expect. Yahuah Acoustics Vol.1 is 20 mins of acoustic set apart music to help you focus on Yahuah and keep your mind stayed on Him. Many of the lyrics come straight from the scriptures, and as you go through your day, those lyrics will come right back to the top of your mind so you can live them out through your heart.

Guess what? I have good news. I’m VERY close to finishing the long-awaited recording that many of you have been asking me about! It’s entitled “Yahuah Acoustics. Vol.1.” This recording has been an ongoing work in progress for over 4 months now. There have been many ups and downs behind the scenes, but Yahuah is good. Finally all the pieces have come together and the project will be released in early December, 2014. That’s in just a few weeks! Wanna see a sneak peek of the cover photo? It’s pictured on the left.
This recording will be entirely focused on the music and the message that Yahuah has given to encourage and inspire YOU. The songs you already know and love from the setapartheart.com blog will finally be available for you to enjoy off-line, wherever you are, whenever you want to – instead of just on YouTube.
HOWEVER, I do need your help. Before everything is finalized, I’d like to make sure that your needs and desires are taken care of. I feel like I’ve gotten to know a lot of you through email correspondence and social media, but truly, most of us have never met face to face, and I don’t want to make assumptions.
So This is where YOU come in. Please take a few minutes to answer the super- short survey below. There are only three questions (YAY!) Feel free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing…. Thanks in advance for your participation.

Hi, it’s me Hadarah…. I’ve been putting off doing this blog post for quite a while… but it’s time.
There is much MORE to understand about faith and spirituality than what Christians, Jews, or any other organized religion is currently teaching. I’ve posted a video below to share some of the reasons why I no longer consider myself a Christian. If you’re not in the mood for reading today, just skip to the video below and you can watch that instead.
Disclaimer Nothing that I say in this video is spoken with the intent to defame or blame any particular individual person or religious group. I am simply telling my story in an effort to encourage those of you who may be on a similar journey, and to clarify the answers for those of you who have questions about what I believe. Since I started posting music videos here on the blog, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my beliefs. This video is simply my way of sharing more of what I believe with all of you.
I have been a Seventh-day Adventist Christian for my entire life up until maybe about a year ago and a half ago. If you know anything about the SDA Church, you know that they claim to be a peculiar people because they worship on the Seventh day Sabbath and they don’t subsscribe to many of the beliefs that most popular Christian Churches believe today. The SDA church teaches a lot of truth, A LOT of truth. But there is still much MORE truth in the scriptures that even the SDA Church will not discuss.
I personally had to step outside of this social club that we call church in order to see and understand that there is indeed more truth. In the video below I would like to share with you just a couple of points that touch on why I am no longer a Christian. I don’t claim to have everything in my spiritual life sorted out, but I do feel solid about the points that I will be sharing with you today. Most of these points apply to Christianity as a whole, but some will also apply to the SDA Church. See the video below.
If you’re not able to watch the video above right now, this is, in short, what I believe:
- I believe in the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation
- I believe that there should not be a devision between the old and new “testament”
- I believe that the covenant Yahuah made with His people is everlasting and that His promises are still true
- I do NOT believe that the Christian Church has replaced the nation of Israel.
- I believe that Christianity blows love and grace out of proportion.
- I believe that grace and mercy can not exist without the law.
- I believe that The Scriptures is a book about Hebrew People
- I believe that Deuteronomy 28 especially verse 64-68, gives us a clear understanding of who the Hebrews are today
- I believe that Israel is comprised of the natural born seed and those who choose to be grafted in
- I believe that Yahuah and His only brought-forth Son Yahusha should be called by their true set apart names, not by the titles Lord, God, or the mistranslated name of Jesus.
- I believe the concept of the Trinity doesn’t even scratch the surface of who our Creator really is.
- I believe that Christmas, Easter, and Halloween are days that Yahuah’s covenant keeping people should take no part in.
- I believe that we should be learning how to celebrate Yahuah’s Feast Days and that just like the 7th day Sabbath they are a mark or sign of the covenant that Yahuah has made with His people.
This is not by any means an exhaustive list of what I believe. But I do hope it helps to clarify for those who want to know. And mostly I pray it’s an encouragement for those of you who are on a journey too. If you have questions feel free to leave a comment! If you’re curious about how this journey started, I tell that story on my about page. Sending much love.
-Hadarah Batyah.
