Fear or Freedom? Be Renewed.

Shalom Mishpacha, it’s Hadarah.
My heart needs to be renewed today. I’ll share more as we go through the blog post. As you read, I want you to ask yourself this…
Are there any areas of your life that need to be renewed?
Spring is almost here.
There are just a few more weeks till Spring is officially here, and I am SO grateful. It’s one of my favorite seasons. In my personal life, I’ve been focused on humbling myself before Yahuah, minimizing “entertainment” and just allowing YAH to renew my heart so I can focus on what truly matters.
When it comes to making music, if my heart isn’t in the right place, there’s just nothing left to give. So my prayer is that Yahuah would make me over again, and help me to approach my music from a renewed place of freedom, and not out of a sense of obligation or fear.
“Create in me a clean heart, O Elohim, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
Psalm 51:10
Fear or Freedom
I can’t lie, I do fear what The Most High would think of me, as His child, if I should ever choose to completely stop making new music for The Kingdom. I’ve been making music since the age of 4. I tried to quit piano lessons several times growing up, but I wasn’t allowed to. Recently, I recognized that I still carry a lot of that negative energy from being forced to make music into the music I make today. Sometimes I still feel forced to make music, when truly, that isn’t the case anymore. I can choose to approach making music with freedom.

In spite of the intellectual awareness that I am not being forced, still, I often have to push myself to make music and intentionally shift my focus to create space for it in my life. When my heart is in the right place, instead of me having to push myself, music just flows naturally. So that’s why I say my heart needs to be renewed.
Even though a large part of me wants to quit making music altogether, I still feel a very strong calling to use my voice for The Most High. So don’t worry, I’m still going to keep pushing myself. Making space for music and shifting focus is where it all starts. That’s why I’ve been posting more shorts on YouTube lately. Praise Yahuah, the energy is starting to shift. Click here if you want to enjoy those shorts.
In contrast to making music, I find there’s a totally different energy in my heart towards my garden. I don’t have to push myself to be there. There’s a pull towards my garden that I simply can’t deny.
If you have that same kind of energy towards a particular place or passion project in your life, leave comment below and tell me all about it. I’d love to hear more from you!
Be Renewed
The garden is a place of renewal. Every Spring, buds and flowers bloom, and new life emerges. Yahuah sends the rain and new life just springs forth! All praise to Yahuah Most High!
I made a video for you to experience some of that life in our garden out here in California. There are clips from this past Fall to the early signs of Spring. As you enjoy the video, and listen to the music, “Renew Me,” one of my originals from “Yahuah Acoustics Vol.2“, I pray you will contemplate if there are any areas of your life that still need to be renewed. You can share more about them in the comments below if you feel moved.
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.”
Romans 12:2
Do you, like me, ever catch yourself operating out of a sense of fear instead of freedom?
What can you do to let Yahuah renew your heart, and make you over again?
Let’s wait on Yahuah together. Let’s allow Him to renew our hearts. If we stay focused on His Word, and His will for our lives, we all can be renewed once again.
“But those who wait on יהוה renew their strength, they raise up the wing like eagles, they run and are not weary, they walk and do not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

Hi there, I’m Hadarah Batyah. I sincerely believe that in order to have a spiritual walk that is authentic and true, the Word of Yahuah must be written on the inside of our hearts. That's why I write scripture songs and set apart music. Although I don’t have everything in my spiritual life all figured out, I know that Yahuah gave me the gift of music to serve Him and encourage your heart. I pray you'll be inspired by what you see on this blog. If you're curious and wanna know more- I tell it all on the
