Will you let Him be your Shepherd? Psalm 23.

Will you let Him be your Shepherd? Psalm 23.

Psalm 23 Scripture Meditation.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

John 10:27

My husband and I went for a nature walk last Shabbat. We just so happened to see this beautiful flock of sheep enjoying the grass and the trees. They were so happy, playful, and free. At the moment, it felt like Yahuah placed them there just for me – to remind me that Yahuah is my Shepherd.

Yah leads, Yah guides, and He always provides. Trusting His path will never lead you astray. You can relax in Yahuah knowing that the truth will make you free. I know you can identify with me!

I tried calling those sweet little sheep, and they just completely ignored me. They just kept enjoying the grass and the trees that Yah had provided for them. I wasn’t offended because John 10:27 came to mind.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

John 10:27

Have we structured our lives in such a way that we ignore all other voices but the voice of Yahuah? Or do we get too easily distracted by input from others? As you listen to this scripture meditation on Psalm 23, I pray that you’ll consider the place Yah has in your life.

If things in life haven’t been going the way you expected, or maybe you’ve been walking through a dark shadowy valley for a while… If it’s been some time since you acknowledged Yahuah as your Shepherd, or if you’ve been living life distracted by the world, and walking in your own ways – just pause for a moment. Remember how much Yah loves you. Let this Psalm of David, Psalm 23, minister to your heart and mind.

In the video below, you’ll hear some of the birds and natural sounds from our walk that day. You might also hear the gentle clanging of the sheep’s bell in addition to my soft acoustic guitar. If you feel so moved, let me know your thoughts in the comments below. I pray this brings you peace as you trust in Yahuah.

יהוה is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psalm 23:1

So I ask you, will you let Yah be your shepherd? Will you trust Him enough to let Him lead? If you know that Yah is a good Shepherd, leave a comment below. Encourage those who might read it, with a quick word or another Psalm. If you need encouragement for yourself, and you need Yah now more than ever before, say “Yah, You are my Shepherd.” HalaluYah! We trust and believe, the truth will make us free. (John 8:32)

I’ll see you in the comments below 🙂

Psalm 92. Thanks and praise. Scripture Meditation.

Psalm 92. Thanks and praise. Scripture Meditation.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto יהוה, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High.

Psalm 92:1

Shalom Mishpacha. I don’t know about you, but I’m always grateful when we come to the end of another week. There’s nothing like the rest we have in Yahuah, especially on The Shabbat! It’s the perfect time for us to give thanks and praise our Elohim.

Over and over again in the Psalms we are reminded of how good it is to sing praise to the name of Yahuah, The Most High. So today I encourage you to leave your cares at His feet and worship Him.

Whether you’re patiently waiting for answers to your prayers… Whether you’re tired, weary, and looking for strength…. Or if you’re sick in your body yet feeling hopeful for healing… Remember, it is always a good thing to give thanks and praise for all the wonderful works Yah has already done.

I pray this short scripture meditation video of Psalm 92, with soft acoustic music in the background, will help lead your heart to a place of worship. The video clips are from landscapes recorded during nature walks my husband and I have been taking in our local area. Enjoy!

For thou, יהוה, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

Psalm 92:4

Leave a comment below if you have a reason to give thanks and praise to Yahuah. It would be awesome to hear your testimonies – so please, feel free to share! He’s been so good – through it all. The fact that we’re able to see, read, and enjoy this moment in a peaceful state of mind is a blessing. The air we breathe is a blessing. There are blessings on blessings on blessings!! If you don’t have a specific testimony to share, just comment and say, “Yah is good!” Let’s lift Him up together, and praise the wonderful name of Yahuah!

Ok, I’ll see you in the comments 🙂

We shall be changed. Healing Scriptures Meditation.

We shall be changed. Healing Scriptures Meditation.

‘Heal me, O יהוה, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

Jeremiah 17:14

Carrying a heavy load

Baggage. At one point or another, we’ve all found ourselves carrying emotional baggage. Some of us are still carrying those emotional or spiritual “bags” to this day. Most of us are subconsciously walking around with more baggage than we will ever realize. A lot of the hurt and pain we experience in the world is still fresh when we first find our way back to Yahuah. We often carry scars from negativity that stem from bad relationships with family members or so-called friends. Disagreements brought on by institutional “churchianity” and pagan origins can leave us spiritually and mentally exhausted.

When we first realize how many layers of lies we have been operating under for the majority of our lives, it can feel overwhelming. We don’t always know where to begin. Coming into truth can often leave us feeling isolated, defensive, or even angry at the world.  Sometimes our emotions get the better of us, we get side tracked, overly focused on one portion of truth, and the pain we feel often gets worse before we find healing and it gets better.

We shall be changed

Even if we don’t have any physical scars, spiritually, we all need healing. True healing comes from Yahuah. He’s the only one who can make us whole again. Not only will He turn our mourning into dancing, but He promises in Revelation 21:4, that when all is said and done, He will wipe away every tear from our eyes. No more pain! HallaluYah!

“And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away.”

Revelation 21:4

Meditate on Yah’s Word

By spending more and more time focused on the truth in Yah’s Word, the change we seek becomes real. Healing requires patience. Both physically and spiritually. Washing ourselves in The Word every day will bring that healing to our lives. And one day soon, we shall be changed!

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Jeremiah 17:14 was my focus text this week. I don’t really discuss my physical health on the blog very often. It’s just not always appropriate. But we know that physical and spiritual health are connected. For several years I’ve been privately asking Yah for healing in my body. So if you’re seeking Yah for healing too, know that you’re not alone. I have hope that the healing will come! And I want to share some of that hope with you, directly from Yahuah’s Word. So I made a scripture meditation video with soft music and vocals too. I pray that it blesses your heart.

‘Heal me, O יהוה, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. ‘

Jeremiah 17:14

Take Action

Change is coming. Healing is on the way. Not because we follow Torah perfectly. Not because we are eating the perfect diet. Not even because we are soooo set apart. Isaiah 64:6 says our righteousness is like filthy rags. We follow Yah’s instructions because we love Him (John 14:15,) not because we are perfect. So as you walk this walk in spirit and in truth, know that change is coming, and healing is on the way, simply because of the mercy of our wonderful Elohim.

Leave a comment if you need healing, I promise you’re not alone. If you want to share a prayer request, you can, or just type out “I shall be healed!” and say it out loud as you type it. “I shall be healed!”

If you’re waiting for a change to come for our people, or a change to come within you, feel free to share what’s on your mind, or just say, “We shall be changed!” For nothing is impossible with Elohim (Luke 1:37.)

Let’s encourage one another in Yahuah, and find strength to endure to the end.

OK, I’ll see you in the comments below.

Psalm 30. Scripture Meditation. Mourning into Dancing

Psalm 30. Scripture Meditation. Mourning into Dancing

There is transformative power in The Word of Yahuah. There’s nothing like it. I can’t explain it. All I know is that declaring the Word of Yah, meditating on the Word of Yah, speaking it aloud, singing it, sharing it… all of this is making my life so much better. I pray that as you spend more time meditating on Yah’s Word with me, the same will be true for you.

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness

Psalm 30:11 KJV

This week’s scripture meditation is on Psalm 30. Being that the new single I just released, Back to You, is based on excerpts from Psalm 30 as well, I thought it would be appropriate to share the whole chapter with you today. I also played a few chords on the acoustic guitar in the background to help you meditate on The Word. If you like these short scripture meditations with music, let me know in the comments below. If you prefer them without music let me know that too. Also, there’s a playlist on my new YouTube channel @setapartheart. The full chapter of Psalm 119 is in there as well, for those of you who requested it.

The video footage in this week’s Scripture meditation was filmed a couple weeks ago on our drive home from visiting local Mishpacha in Yokuts Valley, CA. It was just so beautiful I had to share it! I pray that sharing these moments will help you to relax, and find more peace of mind.

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

Psalm 30:5 KJV

Leave a comment if this video inspired you, or helped you to feel a little more joy inside. I’d love to know your thoughts, or how this made you feel. If you’re struggling or if you need prayer, you’re not alone. We all go through ups and downs. Please share your thoughts, or anything else that’s on your mind in the comments. I’m really enjoying the community feeling we’re building here. Let’s continue to lift each other up.

Alright! I’ll see you in the comments.

A Time to Every Purpose Under Heaven. Yah is in control.

A Time to Every Purpose Under Heaven. Yah is in control.

Sometimes it’s hard to let go. It’s hard to accept that you’re not always in control. I know because I struggle with this too. When we can’t get what we want or expect, or we’re unable to follow through with the plans we have for our lives, let’s try to keep the focal point of this week’s scripture meditation in mind.

“To every thing there is a season,

and a time to every purpose under heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Just like the seasons, and the rising of the noon day sun, we can trust that everything in our lives will happen when it is supposed to happen. Why? Because Yahuah is in control and we are not. Psalm 115:3 says, “Our Elohim is in the heavens and he has done whatsoever he hath pleased.”

Don’t be afraid to let go of your own plans and trust in Yah. He never fails. It’s okay for you to let go. It’s good for you to listen in, and hear Yahuah’s voice. It’s good to follow His prompting, and to take action when He’s calling you to move. It’s also good for you to wait on Yahuah, and to let him strengthen your heart (Psalms 27:14.) So try not to get frustrated in the midst of whatever you’re going through right now. Just keep on trusting in Him. Enjoy the video below.

For Elohim hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

Remember, Yah is in control, so trust the process. Is there anything you’d like to share that came to your mind as you were reading this, or as you were meditating on Yah’s Word? Feel free to share in the comments below. Let’s encourage one another on this journey. You don’t have to walk alone, let’s lift each other up.

Alright! I’ll see you in the comments.
